I just ate my first ever home grown alpine strawberry. It’s the Gartenfreude variety. Picked it up a day too early I reckon (still learning ;D), but still it was very fruity. One month, a generous help from Dasha and Viktor, plenty of care, some hard work transporting soil, sawing bamboo stalks and transplanting seedlings (especially with an injured left hand), and a bit of sun, this year’s garden is shaping up.
